About Me

As a nurse with 8 years of experience, I’m driven by a deep passion for serving underserved communities and advocating for those impacted by mental illness, which led me to pivot into a more focused role in behavioral health.

My personal experiences have fueled my commitment to making mental health care more accessible, empathetic, and effective. I strive to support not only those who struggle with mental health disorders, but also the talented individuals who provide direct support for those individuals. I have found the most purpose in the last 4 years I have devoted to leadership.

Education and Certification:

Degree: Bachelor of Science, Nursing
Institution: Grand Canyon University
Graduated: 2020

Degree: Associate of Science, Nursing
Institution: Clovis Community College
Graduated: 2018

Personal Statement:

My approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect. I believe every person is the expert of their own experience, and I’m here to walk alongside them — not in front of them — as they navigate their mental health journey. With me, patients can expect to feel heard, supported, and never judged. My philosophy is patient-centered with an evidenced-based approach that seeks to remain trauma-informed.

Call to Action:

I have always had a passion for helping others. I get a great sense of fulfillment by doing so as I have already seen how it can impact others. I took an interest early on in my childhood, and volunteered at events around the community.

Now as a healthcare professional, I have the power to make a difference in someone’s life every day. I take action by advocating for my patients, enhancing my skills, advocating for better healthcare policies, and leading with compassion. My actions, no matter how small, can ignite change in the community. It’s a blessing to be able to do what I do.
