I completed my Bachelors in speech-language pathology and audiology with a second major of child learning and development at UT-Dallas, I loved everything I learned, but after graduation I explored my career in city parks and recreation and managed aquatic programming including swim safety education and aqua-fitness! I eventually went back for my Masters in 2020 and completed my master’s in clinical mental health counseling at A&M-Commerce.

In my counseling experience, I did my internship at my local county’s mental health authority doing case management and counseling services for individuals and helped seek community resources for housing, food security, and life skills. After graduation I went to work in disordered eating programs for adults and adolescents where I learned a huge balance between physical wellness including nutrition and mental wellness.

I plan to continue to grow my passion as a counselor, provide mentor/partnership with others, and continue to be the support for my clients as they are on their journeys.
