Personal Statement

I am an empathic and empowering counselor who believes deeply in meeting people where they are. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, including experience supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and has grown beyond crisis response into long-term healing, self-understanding, and meaningful change.

Over the years, my practice has expanded to include working with adults and teens navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, burnout, boundaries, relationships, and personal growth. I support clients at many different points in their journeys — from moments of stabilization and processing to reflection, skill-building, and increased self-awareness. I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all, and I place great importance on honoring each client’s autonomy, pace, and lived experience.

I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels safe, affirming, and collaborative. I view counseling as a partnership built on trust, compassion, and curiosity, where clients can explore their experiences without judgment and move toward what feels most authentic and sustainable for them. I remain deeply committed to advocacy and to supporting individuals in building resilience, insight, and a life that feels more grounded and aligned.
