Michelle Hughett is a dedicated clinical mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling, training, program development, and victim advocacy. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Bellevue University.
With a strong background in evidence-based therapeutic interventions, Michelle has served in various roles, including as a National Training Consultant, where she designed and delivered training for professionals in therapeutic, educational, and administrative settings. Her expertise includes trauma-informed care, policy development, and enhancing program fidelity.
As a Program Director for an internationally known non-profit agency, Michelle oversaw operations, supervised treatment plans for children and adolescents who were victims or human trafficking and those with severe mental health needs using trauma-informed programs. She has also worked as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Professional Counselor, providing psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and advocacy for diverse populations.
Michelle is licensed as a Professional Counselor in multiple states, a National Certified Counselor, and holds specialized certifications in model fidelity evaluation and trauma-informed interventions. She is passionate about improving mental health services through training, consultation, and data-driven program development.
Her areas of expertise include regulatory compliance, staff development, program evaluation, and continuous quality improvement in clinical services. Michelle is committed to fostering environments that support healing, resilience, and long-term well-being.
