I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University and my Master of Science in Counseling from the University of North Texas. I utilized a child and person-centered approach to counseling that provides an individualized approach to each child and adult that I treat in counseling.

Each child, teen, and adult that I treat can expect a non-judgmental approach to healing what is most important to each individual. Providing counseling in a non-directive approach helps me learn from each person what is most unique to their story and be a part of their healing journey in a significant way. Young children can expect to participate in child-centered play therapy in which children can utilize toys and play to express themselves in a developmentally appropriate way. Teens can expect a laid-back, low-pressure atmosphere where they can freely express themselves in a format unique to them that can be made most comfortable for them. Parents can expect to play an active, vital role in supporting their children through individualized parent consultations to work together with the therapist to assist children in meeting their treatment goals.
Seeking help can be scary for children and parents alike, but living with ongoing issues can be scary as well. Please reach out today to begin your first steps to moving towards healing as a family.
Everyone’s mental health journey is unique, and we’re here to ensure you find the right support for yours.
