Anjenette is a board certified, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is from rural Central Texas and appreciates the virtues of living in a small town. Anjie, as she’s more commonly known, obtained degrees from Tarleton State University, Central Texas College, University of Texas at Arlington and Eastern Kentucky University and has over 15 years of experience as a registered nurse.

While caring for patients in a variety of settings, she observed the result of a scarcity of mental health services and the impact on quality of life, especially in rural communities. This, along with an authentic desire to care for others, formed the basis for her pursuit of advanced education to advocate for vulnerable individuals and populations. As a nurse practitioner, Anjenette is licensed by the state of Texas in psychiatry and mental health.

She respects the personal experiences of patients and families and incorporates physical, emotional and sociocultural features in development of a patient treatment plan. She strives to bring empathy, clarity and perspective to promote healthy behaviors and impact patients’ lives in a positive way.
