About Me

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and families affected by trauma and abuse at the Children’s Advocacy Center and as a group therapist for adolescents in Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). With my former background working as a labor and delivery nurse, I’m also very passionate about working with women with prenatal/postpartum mental health issues, or those who have experienced birth trauma, or infertility issues. I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds, races, religions, genders, etc., and have a passion for supporting people through their mental health journeys.

On my days not in the office, I enjoy traveling and going wine tasting with my husband; cuddling with my two dogs, Boba and Nico; listening to podcasts; and trying new dessert spots.

Personal Statement

I believe in the power of giving people a safe, trusting, and nonjudgmental environment to promote healing. I believe increased understanding and knowledge of the mind/body connection helps promote self-compassion and feelings of empowerment in individuals that feel hopeless or defeated. I believe in a holistic approach to mental health and am passionate about using my knowledge as a nurse and therapist to decrease the stigma in mental health and help others see that mental health is health.

Everyone’s mental health journey is unique, and we’re here to ensure you find the right support for yours.
