Self-Care Assessment: An assessment that allows us to take an honest look on how well we are taking care of our physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and professional needs. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and received my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. I have experience working with individuals who have endured pain and suffering, whether it be due to their own choices, the actions of others, or a situation that is completely out of their control. I have witnessed the way depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions and traumatic experiences have resulted in the use of unhealthy coping mechanisms that have made life more challenging.
As a counselor, I view myself as a helper to assist you in discovering what you want, how to get there, and how to leave everything else behind that no longer serves you. Therapy is a lot of work, but I will be there to support you on your path towards transformation.
My counseling style includes accepting you unconditionally wherever you are in your journey. Once you have accepted yourself, then you can change.
