Ask us about TRICARE and other insurance options. Coverage varies by plan, service, and location.

When everyday life starts to feel harder.

Changes in mood, school, or relationships can be signs that your child needs support. You don’t need to have all the answers before reaching out.

School feels overwhelming

School avoidance, trouble concentrating, or a drop in motivation.

Emotions feel bigger

Persistent worry, sadness, irritability, or difficulty coping with stress.

Connection feels harder

Withdrawing from friends, low confidence, or changes in family relationships.

Adolescent Group Programs · IOP & PHP

More support.
Room to grow.

When weekly counseling isn’t enough, a structured group program can offer more support while your teen continues living at home.

Students practice coping skills, work through challenges, and connect with others in a therapist-led setting.

Intensive Outpatient Program

IOP: Support several days a week

Regular group treatment and skill-building, with more time outside treatment than PHP.

Partial Hospitalization Program

PHP: More support during the day

A more intensive daytime treatment schedule. Your teen receives care during the day and returns home afterward.

Skills for life beyond treatment

Handle strong emotions

Practice ways to manage stress and respond to difficult feelings.

Build connection

Work on communication, relationships, and asking for support.

Find a steadier routine

Build confidence and habits that support school and daily life.

Care may also include psychiatry check-ins, medication support, family support, and care coordination.

Our team recommends a level of care based on your teen’s symptoms, daily functioning, and safety needs. Ages, schedules, and in-person or virtual options vary by program and location.

Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Clear answers.
Thoughtful care.

A psychiatric evaluation helps us understand your child’s symptoms and discuss treatment options with your family.

If medication is recommended, your provider will explain why, discuss benefits and possible side effects, and monitor how your child is doing.

In-person and virtual appointments are available. Ask about options for your child’s age and needs.

TMS for Eligible Teens · In-Person Treatment

Another option to discuss for teen depression.

Transcranial magnetic stimulation, or TMS, uses magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain involved in mood. It does not require surgery or anesthesia.

Certain TMS devices are FDA-cleared for ages 15–21 with major depressive disorder, alongside other treatment. A clinical evaluation helps determine whether TMS may be appropriate for your teen.

What parents should know

Treatment takes place in person over a series of visits. Your teen remains awake during treatment.

Side effects may include headache or scalp discomfort. Seizures are rare but possible. Your clinician will review health history, benefits, and risks before treatment.

Eligibility, device availability, and insurance coverage must be confirmed.

Questions Parents Ask

Let’s make this feel less uncertain.

You don’t have to choose on your own. We consider symptoms, daily functioning, safety, and support at home before recommending care. Contact us if you’re unsure where to begin.

In-person and virtual options are available. The right format depends on your child’s age, needs, and program availability. TMS is provided in person.

IOP and PHP involve different time commitments. PHP provides more daytime care and may affect the school day. Ask our team about the current schedule and available school coordination before enrolling.

Family support may be part of care. Our team can explain how parents and caregivers participate, how updates are shared, and how your teen’s privacy is respected.

Age ranges vary by service and location. Tell us your child’s age so we can help identify available options. The adolescent TMS clearance discussed here applies to ages 15–21.
