Personal Statement

I have over 5 years of experience working with children from all backgrounds and walks of life. My experience has allowed for empathy and compassion to come second nature to me which allows me to build rapport with my clients and understand their needs to the fullest potential.

I am well versed in several therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which allows me to work with children and adolescents in maneuvering the hiccups and stressors of life. I can focus on the individualistic needs of each child while combining other aspects that could enhance their ability to overcome obstacles and be their best self. The needs can involve working with the child and their family, the child alone, or within a group setting of peers their age to actively work hands-on in adjusting cognitions and behaviors hindering their success.

“Today I will give myself grace and remind myself how far I have come.”
