My name is Beth Bowen, and I am a Licensed Master of Social Work specializing in dual-diagnosis treatment, mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I earned my Bachelor’s of Arts from Texas A&M University in 2011, and my Master’s of Social Work from The University of Texas in 2013. I also earned my 200 hour yoga teacher certification in 2023.
My practice incorporates elements of mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and nervous system regulation, creating a whole-person approach to client care. My work is trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ and gender-affirming, and I operate from an orientation of harm-reduction when considering substance use and other maladaptive behaviors.

I am deeply passionate about guiding individuals from diverse backgrounds towards a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. My firm belief is that every individual possesses the capacity to cultivate peace and purpose within themselves, given the right guidance and tools.
Through my practice, I emphasize the importance of skill-building and intentional connection between mind and body, fostering a holistic approach to well-being. My approach is grounded in the understanding that each person’s journey is unique and shaped by societal structures, including systemic inequities such as racism and other forms of oppression.
With compassion and a commitment to social justice, I strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and authenticity.
Everyone’s mental health journey is unique, and we’re here to ensure you find the right support for yours.
