About Me

I am an adolescent therapist that loves being able to help today’s youth.

I have a passion for helping others and have been working with children and teenagers for many years. I am an outgoing person that does more than just talk to my clients. For adolescents I believe it is important to engage them by using therapeutic activities that further elicit their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I always have stress toys on hand for children to use during session to help ease anxiety and stress. I work alongside families to ensure my clients receive the best care possible.

Personal Statement

I believe therapy is not “one size fits all”. Each client has unique situations that require personalized care plans. Mental health has become a significant issue, especially among today’s youth. There is a negative stigma that surrounds mental health and receiving treatment. However, I work to fight back against that stigma and let people know that it is okay to discuss your mental health and receive treatments. I relate it to going to a doctor when you are sick. If you have an illness, you go to a doctor to receive treatment. It is the same situation with mental health, if you have a mental health condition it is okay to seek treatment.

In session with me you can expect a comfortable and safe environment. It is important to me to first build a therapeutic relationship with a client. Therapeutic relationships are built on trust and comfort and are vital to ensure the best care possible for the client. I work alongside parents to collaborate on any important issues, treatment plans, and any safety concerns. Depending on the client’s age I will either have the parents stay for the entirety of the first session, or just part of it. After that I tend to see the clients individually. However, I always welcome a discussion with parents/guardians either before or after sessions. Family sessions are also an option if they are warranted. I look forward to working with you and your child.

Everyone’s mental health journey is unique, and we’re here to ensure you find the right support for yours.
