LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor
I am an adaptable therapist in that I am well-versed in several therapeutic methods and have utilized them to help my client(s) reach their goals. I provide person- centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and acceptance and commitment therapy, however, I am a behaviorist at heart. I don’t see therapy as a one-size fits all. Therapy depends on what is needed for each unique individual or group.
My vast experiences as a therapist, supervisor, case manager, advocate, utilization reviewer and instructor allow me to have a broad reach. I have worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings such as assertive community treatment and mobile crisis, department of children and safety and Partial Hospitalization Programs.
I have had the good fortune of working with people of all walks of life, including diverse socioeconomic, religion, race, creed, age, gender, and location. As a result, I have learned that we have more in common. We all have a need to find and hold on to our happiness.
I value a work/life balance. When I am not assisting clients on their path of wellbeing, I enjoy music, swimming, any form of art, learning new things with my family and most importantly, laughing!

I believe in embracing the importance in diversity, acceptance and communication. These aspects are needed for relationships with individuals as well as within the mind, body and spirit connection in ourselves.
